Logo is important for any professional to identify there concern. Logo is remarkable for any business people. The easiest way to recognize a company and distinguish it from others is by its logo. Here we go some common mistakes in logo design. If we avoid some common mistakes we can able to get a successful and professional logo.
Avoid Raster Graphic:
When designing a logo use vector graphic other than raster graphic. Because logo is standard one which should placed at anywhere at the time of need. Vector graphic is made up of mathematical precise points, which ensures visual consistency across multiple sizes. Raster graphic is consists of pixels. If we use vector graphic means we can transform into any shape at anywhere without reducing quality, but in raster we can’t edit with better quality. Refer pic 1 is sample.
Avoid Complex Shapes:
When designing a corporate logo avoid complex overly. It would be better just avoid because in thumb a complex design will lose detail and in some case it will look like smudge or in blur nature. Refer pic 2 is sample. Logo should be memorable, if we want a memorable logo keep things simple.
Registered trademark Symbol:
Many professionals making major mistake is often made by business owners who design their own logo or by amateur designers who are not clued in to the laws on copyright. If we download image from stock photo or some other website is not a crime, but it could possibly get you in trouble if we incorporate it in a logo. Refer pic 3 is sample.
Avoid too much fonts:
Collection of font to make a unique logo end in a confusion & it create bad impression which is picturised in pic 4. Using two fonts of different weight is standard practice. If we reduce usage of more number of font leads to produce a legibility of a logo design and improves brand recognition.
Poor choice of fonts:
When a designer executing a logo, choosing the right font is the most important decision a designer can make. If we doesn’t choose right font it shows incomplete logo which is pictures in pic 5. The key is finding the right balance, somewhere in the middle. Every typeface has a personality. If the font you have chosen does not reflect the icon’s characteristics, then the whole message of the brand will misfire.
Logo designer should keep in mind before executing a logo.
- Use vector graphic for updating in future.
- Mixer of font family should avoid.
- Logo should be simple & legible.
- Use black color other than multi color or use color which is resembled to theme.
- Logo will be unique and memorable.
- Your logo will look professional.
