It is a universal wish to find happiness in one’s job. Nowadays passion for one’s work is vital if we have to be happy. But somewhere down the line lose their passion in the work and are unhappy and even depressed. Yet it is in our hands to bring that zest back into our relationship with work. Here are some suggestions
Tips for Motivation
Job satisfaction seems to be inversely proportional to the number of years you spend in an organization. After two or three years in a position, you begin to get bored. You can avoid this feeling of dissatisfaction if you can recall your initial expectations from the job and the passion with which you did your work.
- Motive yourself in a work and hopes you had for a better position and dreams about you careered. This would be the inspiration and motivation for ur involvement with your work.
- If you feel your job is becoming dull and monotonous, think of ways to make it more interesting. Everybody wants to look forward to in their jobs and maybe through your efforts you can find ways to participate in an exciting project or new venture of your organization. And you can even pitch an exciting idea to the management, get their approval and start working on it. At that time you may feel, the job gives better satisfaction to you.
- Another way to beat the boredom is to find something extra to do with your skills and talents. And you have to be volunteer for your organization by building projects. Seek out the people in organization who are dedicated to their jobs. Observe and learn from them and probably you can put more passion in your job. Have to make good relationship with your colleagues, who will aid you in putting more enthusiasm and you can find solutions to make the work more rewarding.
- Taking small breaks in a middle of a workday like a walk around the block, small talk with colleagues or even going out for a quick lunch can break the monotonous routine.
The power to change your attitude to work lies within you, a little effort on your part can bring back the passion you once had for your job.
The highest reward for a person’s toil is not what they get for it, but what they become by it.
