In Magento, a grouped product displays the collection of products in the description page.

For example, if you are selling a pouch for the mobile phone, you can list the pouches in various sizes according to the mobile phone model. For this, you will need to create the grouped products to display the various sizes of the pouch in a single product. Each size of the pouch is created as a simple product

How to create a Grouped product:

1) When you are about to create a grouped product, you will first need to create a simple product which is associated to the grouped product
2) Simple product can be created in normal procedure
3) Once the simple product is created, navigate to “Catalog -> Manage Products”
4) Now click the ‘Add product’ icon and select the grouped product from “product type” option. Please check with the below screenshot for reference.

1) Under the General tab, you will need to specify the product name, weight & sku
2) In grouped product, an additional tab – “Associated Products” will be available
3) “Associated Products” lists out the entire product. Select the simple product that has been created into the grouped product. An screen shot on how to select “Associated Products” is given below
